Pheasant Cove Outfitters sits on 2,500 acres of family land just outside Glenham in Walworth County, North Central South Dakota. The nearest town with services is Mobridge, approximately 7 miles from The Cove, which has fuel, lodging overflow options, a golf course, and access to the Missouri River for walleye fishing.
The surrounding landscape is classic South Dakota pheasant country — rolling plains, creek bottoms,
shelterbelts, and agricultural fields that hold birds in exceptional numbers throughout the season.

Mobridge Municipal Airport (MBG) is just 7 miles from The Cove and features a 4,400-foot runway with an instrument approach. You can leave home in the morning and be hunting by noon. It’s one of the most convenient private aviation access points of any hunting lodge in the region.
Bismarck Municipal Airport is the most commonly used commercial airport for hunters traveling to Pheasant Cove. Served by multiple major carriers with connections through Minneapolis, Denver, and Dallas. A scenic drive south through the Dakotas puts you at The Cove in roughly 2 hours.
Aberdeen Regional Airport offers commercial service and is a solid option for hunters connecting from the eastern United States. Car rental is available at the airport, and the drive northwest to Glenham takes you through classic South Dakota plains country. A great way to arrive.
Pierre Regional Airport serves hunters coming from the south and southwest with connections through Denver and other regional hubs. Pierre sits along the Missouri
River and the drive north to Glenham follows the river corridor through some of the most beautiful terrain in the state.

Oahe Hills Golf Course in Mobridge is a scenic and enjoyable 9-hole course that makes for a perfect afternoon when the temperature is warm and you want something different after a morning in the field. It’s a favorite among early season hunters looking to fill the afternoon hours before dinner back at The Cove. Pricing and tee times are not included in hunt packages.
A South Dakota hunting license is required for all hunters and is not included in your Pheasant Cove package. We will help you acquire your license on the day you arrive at the Cove. Licenses can be purchased online through the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks website. Non-resident licenses are available online and are typically straightforward to obtain.
